Villa Sarayat El-Maadi

Designed and installed a set of arched stained glass windows for this private villa in Maadi, a small residential commission built around two complementary geometric palettes.

The first window is a tall, multi-arched composition in primary color bands — deep blue, gold, red and turquoise — run as concentric arcs and verticals across a textured clear-glass field, with fine wrought-iron-style scrollwork etched through the panes. The second is a smaller arched window in a warmer Art Deco palette of amber, green and burgundy, its glass shaped into a stylized palmette that rises through the arch, set against panels of textured and frosted glass. 

Both windows are hand-leaded, using textured and colored glass to bring filtered, colored light into the villa’s interior while giving each opening its own distinct character.
