An artist’s discipline, formalized
In 1987, artist Nagui Riad began mastering mosaic and stained glass, a discipline of patience, precision, and light. By 2000, that craft had grown into Gdariat, the company he co-founded with Christine Soliman to bring it fully into the world of architecture, pairing computer-aided design with work still cut and finished entirely by hand. Today, our dedicated studios carry that same process forward, where engineers, architects, and artists work side by side, and every piece is signed by its maker. What began with a single artisan’s vision now spans continents, pools, façades, and sacred interiors across North America, Africa, and Europe, each carrying the same commitment to precision and beauty. We don’t just install mosaic and stained glass; we design with it, treating every wall, floor, and window as a chance to turn architecture into art.
