Villa Aswaq El-Morshedy

A Moroccan zellige-inspired pool, conceived as a mosaic carpet beneath the waterline. Interlocking florals and a geometric diamond-chain border draw on the North African tradition of geometry as philosophy. Built in decorative mosaic units across a cerulean-turquoise-teal palette, the water acts as a shifting lens over the pattern, like light moving across a woven rug. Floor, walls, steps, and curved entry are treated as one continuous composition, with every transition resolved seamlessly.
